Broken silences

coldLogic has done something unusual and utterly fantastic, they have done an entire release during a sale and they have marked it down to sale price. The separates are just in time as summer heats us with light tops and comfy looking shorts. The sale runs until July 5th so there's lots of time to pop into coldLogic and all of the FATE brands to grab all of those things you have been coveting.







Now, I know I haven't spoken about this yet and you would think I would. I've been a little busy celebrating and watching the events unfold since The United States granted equal marriage rights. I don't know what there is to say, this is a beautiful thing and an important win but it is only a fraction of what we are still facing. A lot of creators have generously joined in on the celebration with gifts such as this gorgeous floor cussion from Sway's that is full of lovely animations for couples, friends, and singles.

Meet you here

The pitter patter of rain outside is so magical, much like this round of The Fantasy Collective warm hints of early summer and brighter colours were everywhere.



There were also some beautiful pastels like this soft bodysuit from dead dollz, the fitted bodice is lovely and the bit of poof and ruffles is so unique. I love how it fit my Maitreya body just fine and I've been prancing everywhere in it.



Ama. released the Esseri skirts, these come with so many size options for male, female, and mesh bodies. I liked this blue the most but there is also a white, brown, slate, and a muted pink. I just love them so much. My tattoos are from Izzie's, I've admired the metalic tattoos in first life so many times, I was so happy to see this set from her. The sandals are also a happy purchase from TFC, I was do happy to get this pair because it is black with a subtle floral print and I can wear them with anything.



I had to zoom right in to show you how stunningly delicate this piece from HopScotch, there are a number of colour options to choose from but I had to go for this mix of pastels and the gold. Gold is my favourite metal this year and the pastels feel so summery and dreamy.

Summertime part two

It's been a long day out in the sun, we wandered the harbour in town and shared a box of fries. As far as dates go it was lovely. In Second Life I also had a long day out in the sun, wandering these ruins and lazing on the beach as the sun came down in the most beautiful tropical sunset.



I can't think of anything more fitting to throw over a bathingsuit to cover up while exploring than this borgeous dress from Pixicat. There is a longer version aailable as well and both versions come with a patterned version and a plain version. I'm in lust with the bright pop of colour that the red and blue and black bring out down the front.



As the sun started to dip below the horizon I settled down onto my fri.day beach towel in a lovely little dress from tee*fy and these modern gladiator style sandals, also from fri.day. Of course I would need something warmer soon but I wanted to catch every last bit of that sunset before I ran in for a sweater.

Summertime part one

Summerfest has me all riled up to take myself to the beach thanks to some fantastic pieces and this bathing suit from Baiastice is right at the top of my list, the fringe is so touchable looking and the bright colours are exactly what I'm in the mood for. These super cute sandals by fri.day are also at Summerfest, they come in so many bright, summery colours so they are perfect for your beach perusing adventures. Maitreya has released a gorgeous one piece bathing suit and a comfy looking cover up to go with it. There are so many options to choose from it was tough to pick. I love these seagulls, they are animated and make seagull sounds which is adorable.



This hair has to be one of my favourites of the year, it flows perfectly around my face and gives off an air of Danaerys without being an exact copy. I think I wear this tattoo the most out of all the recent purchases, I love it so much it has a save space in my Maitreya HUD. As for the shorts, they are so different I had to have a pair, the bikini bottoms are a separate piece and come with a texture change HUD.

Stranded in a strange place

I am a shameless Lost fan, possibly the biggest fan. When I wandered onto this island and found the wrecked plane and the jungle I got so excited. What a perfect setting to show off my mini shopping spree through Kustom9.



I picked up these shorts in the rose pattern but you could get them in a non patterend version if you prefer it that way, they fit the Maitreya, Belleza, and physique as well as the standard avatar body. They fit really well with this lovely set of layered tank tops from Blueberry, they aren't at the event and they also fit the mesh bodies and standard avatar body.



I love these super cute summer sandals from fri.day. There are so many colours to choose from and of course I reached for the yellow first because I can't get enough yellow shoes. Clawtooth always brings utterly lovely hair or us an this round is no exception, I feel it suits my face well and the reds work really well with my skintone.



I ended up with so much beautiful stuff this week including this choker from Ama. that you can't actually run out and grab just yet. They will be available at Cosmopolitan Bi-Weekly after the 21st. SONG is a name I have seen around but I've never tried out their eyes before and I have to say I am really enjoying these. I pickedup two pairs because they were both so pretty and I couldn't decide.

A day in the park with coldLogic

Beautiful new releases from TRUTH and coldLogic today, Randa is a beautiful windswept look with with soft feminine waves, my dress is separate pieces so you can mix and match if you pick up more than one colour.



Carlson is a lovely simple tank dress in soft colours, it looks great for lounging around in on a lay Sunday, I've already shown you Lucretia but I love this hair so much for spring. The soft curls and hairband work so well on my face and go with nearly everything.



Benita is an adorable half updo with a hair tie that you can change the colour on, I think it looks really cute with Benita. Benita is also in separate pieces leaving you with so many combination options should you choose to get more than one set.



Sura is another simple tank dress but this one looks perfect for lounging at the beach, each dress is a different gradient beach scene.

Show your pride with ROMP

This marks the last ever round of ROMP monthly, I'm sure we are all sad to see it go but it doesn't mean the end of ROMP. The quarterly fairs will still run as usual so we have those to eagerly look forward to. I picked up this lingerie from Luxuria because I love all things pride. There's a set of male boxers as well if that's more your thing. The set includes Physique and Omega appliers and works quite well in mask mode if you like to layer things over your tattoos like I do.

At the gym

FATEwear has a bunch of new releases for us recently and I couldn't help but pair them with a few items that I picked up at the (now over) PILOT 50% off sale. The pants come with both the pants and shorts option and if you grab the FATEpack you get a whole range of colours to choose from, the tops both come with the hood up or down. I was very fond of the ombre style of Phillips because there were so many unusual mixes to choose from.







In the interest of full exposure.

I wore these over my TMP beta body and because they aren't made to fit it wasn't a perfect fit, totally understandable so I would advise you as with everything, try a demo first. It is entirely possible that with some tweaking of your shape you might be able to make it work, if not they are fabulous over the regular avatar body that they are made for.

I like to mix and match my outfits and sometimes the things that seem so different just work like my hair from TRUTH and the Pixicat Temptation Corset both from this round of The Arcade. The flower is optional and the hair is equally lovely without it. The underwear that comes with the corset is unrigged and mod which is great, it took me only a moment to make it fit perfectly.



I love how well this bodysuit shows off my new favourite tattoo from White~Widow, the tattoo does extend down the torso. It is stunning and so worth a look if you're crazy about the bigger line work pieces like I am. My hair, the wings, and my skin are all from The Arcade. I picked up a bunch of the skins because I've got a feeling this is my look for the summer. It's just dark enough to be a believable tan for my liking. How cute is this retro style from TRUTH, the bow is optional but I feel it really polishes off the super feminine style.

Speaking of Pride

It's 9:30 at night, I'm curled up in my partner's lap while I wait for my other partner to finish work and come home. This is my normal and has been for two years now and when a friend posed these questions I felt the need to find some sort of answer.



What does pride mean to you?

Pride has been a quiet but enormous part of my life as long as I can remember. It's not something you'll find me shouting from any rooftops but it's a part of who I am. Pride is the quiet voice that reminds me I don't owe anyone an explanation for the labels I fit (terribly) into, I don't have anything to be ashamed of, and I don't have to be an open book about any of it. I share what feels right with who feels right when it feels right.



Does pride still matter?

There are places in the world I would face jail or death just for loving who I do so, yes, pride matters. Pride matters until every single GBLTQ spectrum person is safe and has equal rights to any other person. Pride matters long after that is a reality to protect those rights and celebrate the lessons we have learned along the way in achieving them.

Guusje

FaMESHed and Uber are upon us again and this round has some really exciting pieces. Guusje is a very long style that flows down the chest with a very attractive slight wave to it. The hair comes with male and female fit versions which is great news if you've been waiting on really long hair like I have. You can pick up the hair at FaMESHed that opened today.

My suit is from Zaara at Uber, I really enjoy the different styling as an addition to my ever growing suit collection. It comes in a range of neutrals but I wanted to go with the classic black.
