FATEplay Fallout

I'll admit that these outfits were my first exposure to Fallout and that led me to hunt down youtube videos to try an figure out what on earth I was looking at. I now want to run out and get a copy as soon as possible!

Cryssie had the idea to get us all together and take our own versions of the photos so we wandered down to FalloutWasteland and scoped the place out. That place has rez enabled if you need s post apoc place to take photos!

First we took over a train station as only badass outlaws can! The outfit comes with the hat and the armpod. We had to bring our own guns but if you have a poke around the marketplace there are so many great mesh weapons to choose from.


Then we went down the hill to pretend we had just escaped the vault and were filthy from all that effort. ( I don't know, does one escape the vault or is that not a thing?) All of the outfits come with a version of the arm pod but you can get the whole set separately if you want a different version. If you zoom in on it the screen flashes through messages and I got a hint that there is a secret message hidden in there. Personally I think the giant bunnies were the funniest part. There is also an alternate version of the male jumpsuit that has the top tied around the waist and all of them come with a clean version.

One Year

A year ago today he wandered into my quiet little life mumbling over and over again about being gay to try and get my attention. I was completely oblivious and utterly smitten with him all at once but, you know, things like this don't happen outside of movies.



I sort of wanted to leave Keibra out of this but there's no our story without a bit of her at the beginning so... *deep breath* My sort of girlferiend at the time had met this guy that she really fancied the idea of a threesome with and was trying to shove me in between the two of them. Otherwise known as she had met someone she found more attractive and wanted to rub up against him which should have bothered me but I was too busy being distracted by the beautiful Welsh man in the suit that I couldn't stop staring at. Anyway, she pushed, we both tried to ignore it, she pushed some more, there was an event with him in a dress that was hilarious, and all sorts of her innapropriate touching. He broke through my walls with a stolen kiss, a kiss became many, and that in turn led to that threesome she wanted so badly happening without her . I wish I could say that was the end and we parted ways on good terms. That is a story, or a nightmare, for those of us that lived it.

I'm baaaack

There have been a lot of changes going on in my life during the past week... ok, if I'm being honest this whole month has been a curveball. Moving had me fretting to begin with but the timeline for that has been moved up a year. I'm pretending to be calm but inside I'm a mess of panic and stress packing and all sorts of emotions. This move will be the final move away from my small, waterfront town. The move is the best thing for us but I can't help but be a little sad, I love everything about the water and the boats that routinely peruse the harbour. I often steal away from my grocery shopping to wander down by the water, always in sandals like these. They are from BOOM and are made for both genders which I'll admit, made me squeak. I've been looking for a really great pair since last summer and these have the best detailing I've seen. The even look as comfy as the real thing.



I don't know about you but I've been on the edge of my seat waiting for something new to come from IKON, his really are my favourite eyes and wow these Immortal eyes (I'm wearing the mortal version) are stunning and so different. If you hurry there is a green pair as a group gift! This hair has made it around the blog world a few times over already but it is love... I haven't taken it off since I bought it aside from quick Hair Fair photos. It comes with a female version that has a bit more length and poof and I'm loving how it is wavy and almost soft curls.

You've heard this over and over again but I'm going to bring it up myself. Back. Up. Your. Work. This week the unimaginable happened, my laptop decided to not get past the boot screen and I had to try to do an emergency backup. It failed and I lost the last week or so of work, my blender files, a bunch of photos, and personal files. needless to say I am not impressed and a bit embarassed that I'm so bad at backing things up. You've got options, I'm going with a dropbox, an external hard drive, and a password manager.

TMD and Hair Fair Part 1

Yesterday we went for a wander on a good friends recently built sim, she does stunning work
 that you really must drop in and see for yourself! We paused from our usual running around like idiots to grab this shot, I'm really loving the recent male releases from MINA and this one is no exception, you get 3 hair bases with it including one you can tint to your liking though I used the brown. I like how it looks like I have darker roots with the base and on the hair itself.

I didn't buy much at The Mens Dept this month so I'm going to have to drag Val into my photos to show off the great stuff he picked up, like these shorts by LikeA. No, they aren't falling off no matter how much I tested them... My shorts are also from TMD by ISON, they have a great fit to them and the length is perfection. I paired them with this floral shirt from CheerNo at The Dressing Room and these sandals from Amala. They were part of Fifty Linden Fridays but you can find other colours at The Seasons Story during the summer round.

Wandering China Town

oOne of my favourite places on earth has to be China Town in Toronto, I love the smells and the people and all of the interesting little stores. A close second would be the grocery markets we discovered when we lived in Kitchener, the ones that smell like fresh fish and strange vegetables as soon as you wander in the door. Those markets are the thing I missed most when I moved away and  one of the biggest reasons we are going back next spring. I can't wait!

Libra Girl

Yaaaaay Blacklace released more of the bikinis and how could I not spend an afternoon in the sun in this pink sequined piece. I love the fit on these so much and they show off this new release from TATTOO MANIA that's covering my leg. The Chinese dragon climbs right up your leg which is really neat.



I know, I know it's strange to see me as a brunette. This beautiful gift skin from Glam Affair has brows that range from light to a dark black and as much as I can pull off the blondish brows as a ginger the brunette spoke to me so I went for it. Luckily the Magika HUDs include a wide range of colours to chose from. I paired all of it with this simple zodiac tattoo from TATTOO MANIA, you'll have to play your luck at the gacha to get one of these but I think it's well worth it for a small, well placed piece.

In imagination we exist together

FATEwear has recently released these hoodies, they come in a wide range of colours to choose from but it you grab the FATEpacks you get a whopping 18 colours that includes a few exclusive bonuses. You get the choice of wearing the hood up or down, keeping the jacket open or closed, and wearing it without the mesh shirt underneath. I'd have to say Briggs or Jeff is my favourite because I like the simplicity of them but Luc had me wandering around INSILICO searching for the perfect spot to pose, if you haven't been it's a beautiful futuristic sim and well worth exploring.

I'm always on the hunt for poses that fit Val and I, ones that are made for two men do seem to work the best because so matter how much shorter I am there is no way I am going to be female sized or shaped. I remember well the absolutely adorable photo this pose is based off of and I'm loving having a chance to make it my own.
