It's heating up

New from coldLogic and thingas are starting to heat up for summer! The tops this time are lighter options that show a little more skin just in time for the weather to get even hotter. It has been full on summer weather for us the past few weeks and wow, I forgot just how hot it can get.



Anton is a neutral knit halter top that sways low in the back and is cropped, if you pair it with a high waisted skirt like I have with budd it shows off the detailing of the skirt while keeping you covered up.'



Kylie is a floweier long tank top that really adds a casual edge to the aubrey skirt. The fabric is plain with a pretty edging at the bottom. Aubrey is a high waisted gathered skirt that goes well with any of the tops shown today.



Penn is a slightly cropped tube top that looks like it could be made from jersey, it has a drawstring just under the bustline and a pocket on the front. It's that perfect casual top that's dressed up just a little with the contrasting edging. Byron are a super cute pair of jeans with the hem rolled up, they look adorable with flats and really show off a pair of heels. The perfect jeans for year round style.



Who wants cotton candy? The booth top and kost pants remind me of something you might find me in at the carnival when I was younger. Booth is a cropped halter top that is reminiscent of a bandana and kost are delicately patterned pants that look comfy enough for an evening of rides and fair food. I might need a snow cone along with that cotton candy now that I think about it.



I might give some of that kareoke a try, or maybe not but I look adorable either way in the cope top, a tank top that is light and flowey with the prettiest lace detailing and a gradient top.



Tyree is a more simple version of penn without the contrasting edging, it comes in a variety of cozy colours and fits perfectly with both the skirts and pants I've shown today.

Uber - Spice

Uber is back and this time around the theme was spice. Lots of gold and South Asian influences flowing through the offerings, like this top from Fishy Strawberry. The delicate straps wrap around the back so it is nearly backless and it plays well with the Sitara skirt from Junbug. The skirt is lush and full and falls over the hips beautifully. My hair is from TRUTH and includes the jewels, there are a number of colours to choose from for the gem and the metal pieces are either gold or silver. The bangs are an optional add on and the hair is stunning with or without them.



Baiastice has brought this dress in a variety of colours and patterns, all of them vibrant and alive. I was drawn instantly to the glow of the purples and blues in the skirt. Both of my tattoos come in one pack from .Reckless. they come with a faded or fresh option. The hair comes with an optional scarfed version and the jewels are removable if you would prefer it without.

Summertime Sadness

The past weeks have been overshadowed with sadness as we have lost too many members of our SL family. However you handle your grief I hope you find a place of peace soon.

I had to grab this new mainstore release from Blueberry. The set includes a top and a short dress, both include texture change options for the bra.



Here I am again putting boots with a dress, I think it's my favourite way to wear these shorter, casual dresses. There's magic in the air

Mystery and fantasy everywhere... The Fantasy Collective and Create Your Own Tarot opened a few days ago and I adore these two. I picked up my own little friend from SWaGGa, I haven't named him yet. Any ideas? The mask and my top are also from TFC, the top from Dead Dollz has a HUD to change the leather band, lacing, and the hooks. It fit beautifully over my Maitreya body which is a huge bonus. The mask from Axix is so beautifully detailed and I love how it captured the light. The detailing on this headband really caught my eye, the coins are so realistic and the gem has a great finish to it. Now, the piece that inspired the whole photo, this fantastic crystal ball from Little Llama. If you want your fortune read all you need to do is ask a question and give it a click.



The fit of this set from Storybook is so good, the bottoms especially fit like a glove on my Maitreya body. Hopscotch released these staves at TFC as well and they are so full of magic. They are not combat scripted but they are modify so you can drop your preferred scripting into them, I like to attempt to keep my script count down so I very much appreciate the minimal scripting (the gem is scripted to move up and down which looks really neat).

Making friends on a strange island

Happy Monday! The week has flew by in a haze of work, and fudge pops. I went out for some much needed retail therapy this afternoon that I simply have to share with you along with all new releases from TRUTH.



First off I have this adorable rendition on the little black dress by Tee*fy at Kustom9, there are lots of brighter colours to pick from as well if black isn't your thing. The dress is actually in two pieces so you can mix and match the skirt and top if you buy multiple colours. Ama. has released this collar in so many colours at Cosmopolitan Bi Weekly, the collar comes with a ser of four matching cuffs. There's less than a week left in the event so hurry on down if you want to grab these at 20% off.



Verinne has the most beautiful set of braids going down the back of the head and the hair flows down your upper back. I think you're going to be seeing a lot more of this one as I can't get enough of the detailed braids. As for my shoes, they are fairly new from N-Core and fit over most of the high feet on the market including, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, TMP, and their own brand of feet. The denim set is currently a special discount offer and comes with a HUD to change the wood on the platform, the metals, and the denim to a darker shade as shown or a lighter option.



I also picked up this cute top from Bueno at Kustom9, there were a number of patterened, plain, and striped to choose from. The pack includes standard sizes and multiple mesh body fits to choose from if you prefer those.

Celeste is another big hair with a hippie vibe, you can wear it without the headband if you like and you can change the colour on it to better match your outfit.

My jeans from Blueberry are a mainstore release with the cuff rolled up partway down the calf. I am utterly spolied with choice when it comes to these, all of the size options along with the fitmesh versions for Maitreya, Belleza, and Physique come in either a curvy or regular fit.

Collabor88 - May 2015

Collabor88 is so cute and ready for spring this round, the colours are brights and pastels, reminiscent of all of the beautiful spring flowers that are popping up around town.



Of course, here in Canada, spring is often not a warm season from one day to the next and I would wear this cozy hoodie from Etham so often. Especially paired with cute little flats and rolled jeans like these. The hoodie is at FaMESHEd, the jeans are a mainstore release and the flats are at Collabor88 this month.



I love the unusual cut of this Pixicat dress, it feels like a great piece for the beach. I went with bright flats because I adore yellow and a really girly style from Exile,. All three pieces are available at Collabor88.



More yellow! I had to get these shorts in the yellow, there are patterns available as well if you're into that look. The top also comes in patterned or plain versions. A bit of a shift into business casual and the Penny Janes take on yet another look. I love how versatile a simple flat can be especially when it has details like the bow that push it to another level. My hair is a classic style as well that I know will go just as well with a flapper style dress that I have as it goes with this suit.




This lingerie from erratic is gorgeous and the Omega applier that's available opens it up for so many body choices. I prefer to purchase Omega appliers because they are so open ended and work perfectly on my Maitreya body.  Speaking of things that work perfectly on my Maitreya body, my collar is rigged to fit perfectly on the body. I know I say this every month but ROMP is my favourite time of the month. All the adult goodies make me giddy and these fantastic plugs are no exception. The gem is a very pretty large faceted piece attached to either a gold or silver glossy plug. Beautiful Baja

So much newness for you today! coldLogic has recently released a variety of skirts and tops that all work well together to create very different casual looks. Selby and brocco are both front crossed pencil skirts. The silhouette is very pretty and I really like the plaid of selby.






If you want more flow you might prefer petion or scott, petion comes with the choice of a plain belt or a lace belt to dress it up a little. Scott comes with two colour choices for the belt and has a lovely floral pattern.





I paired my outfits with the latest releases from TRUTH, I almost always reach for the gingers pack but there's a rainbow of options to choose from. Katara feels very me, I have a soft spot for braids and soft, feminine shapes. Paola is all sorts of drama and comes with two size options.





These wedges from FATEstep are the embodiment of summer with their chunky, natural material sole and wide straps. Jessie is a mix of woven on the wedge and matte straps where Jessica has a wood feel to the wedge and glossy straps. Epps is a glossy unisex flip flop. We <3 RP is having their anniversary this round and I'm not ashamed to admit I went a bit crazy so I've got a few posts ahead. I had to get this one out right away as I'm a wee bit in love with this picture and this jacket from A:S:S Decades. It's beautiful velvet over a vest and crisp white shirt and it fits well over the Eddie trousers from FATEwear. Along the dark and creepy theme, I dug out some old Ama., The blackout eyes come with mesh eyes and a tattoo, it was the perfect base for the weirdest thing I have ever seen. I love the weird of the roses from Katat0nik even if they do creep me out.

It's the TRUTH

Can you believe it is the weekend already! I sure can't, the sun is out and the birds are singing and it feels like summer. I know I love every season or i say I do but I do. I love the colours changing and the way the air smells differently.

Speaking of summer, I've got three really great hairstyles to show you that are great for the summer. Frst up is Sukie, she's playful and young feeling with pigtails and an optional spiky kitty eared headband. The headband comes in a variety of bright colours as well as black and white.
