Autumn winds blow in with FATE

The autumn release from FATEwear was perfect timing for me, the air outside has changed and I'm instantly in the mood for cozy sweaters and heavier jackets. Damien has not disapointed with this huge release including several coats, two varieties of cozy sweaters, a few sportcoats, and plaid! I love plaid so much. I borrowed Val for a few hours and dressed him up so we could show you a bunch of the newness.

Dressing up Venus

I've been running around ever since the new mesh body from Belleza was released playing with my mesh clothes to see what I can make work with it, so far the easiest have been full pants and sweaters but these shorts from Maitreya work well so long as you wear a top that covers your stomach and the teeny skirt and jean jacket from Cynful are a good fit if your breasts are small enough.



If you're going to wear clothes you're going to want some shoes to go with it and fri.day has started in on fitting a number shoes to the body. So far you can pick up the Persephone pumps and the Zoe heels in all of the regular colours. I'm so excited to see what is coming in the future.



It has smelled like snow a few times this week and as much as i need for it to wait until after my move I can't help getting that flutter in my stomach. I love that first snow of the year more than anything else that comes with the change of seasons. All that beautiful white and the gentle winds... The good and the sad on Friday

I'm going to start with the good because I love Fifty Linden Friday, the offerings are always great and for that price you can enjoy a binge without breaking the bank. I grabbed this sweater from tulip for FLF and discovered tulip. is closing, I picked up a few things I've had my eye on for a while like these jeans and a few other tops. You should have a wander down there for some really nice basics. My shoes from fri.day are also for FLF, the set comes with two pairs, one for the medium feet and one for the high in this pretty neutral brown.

Kisses and Candy Apples

I can hardly believe this little blog has hit 100 posts already, I had no idea what I was getting into when I first picked up my camera and started figuring out that pesky windlight shenanigans that I would be here, a hundred posts later with no end in sight. I'm still not sure I've found my voice, most days I know I haven't but I love this little place we've built here. Now, onto the good stuff.

I've got a mix of events in here, starting with this bright, fun hair from MINA at KUSTOM9 {Started 15th of September}. This is a special set of colour packs for this round at a discounted price of 199L. The dreamers necklace from Lark was part of the most recent FLF and the top from etham is currently discounted at The Mens Department {September 5th - 30}, Val and I both ended up with different colours for once. We shouldn't be allowed to shop separately... ever. We always want the same colours.



If you wander over to FaMESHed {September 1 - 30} you can pick up this great hoodie from etham and this hair from Damselfly. The hoodie comes with a HUD to change the colour of the stripe, strings, and gromets. I love seeing more mens items showing up at events!

Dancing on my own

Phew this is a big one, Collabor88 is celebrating all things neon and 80's this month and I have to admit I wasn't overly excited until I started trying things on... I went a little nuts. I've been wearing this Exile hair around a lot and playing out my manic pixie dream girl fantasies. I've used a number of poses from the new sets that Sweet Sacrifice poses has released this month at Pose Me Amazing. She does really different stuff and I can see myself using the dancing poses over and over again.

I went all out with the neon and bright and oh dear... anyway, Ingenue has made these utterly adorable heels for the high feet in a bunch of bright, fun colours and the bodysuit and skirt set from Tee*fy works well with or without the skirt.





Oh boy do these shoes remind me of my teen years, I'm too young to remember the 80's but shoes like these from fri.day were alive and well during the 90's. With a high platform and lots of colours to pick from you're going to need the high feet as well for these ones.












The Motel set from Intrigue Co. is so adorable it makes me want to set one up and rent them out, I don't have the space for that but I did leave one up on my platform permanently so I can sneak away from work and play some video games or nap. The set comes with several "rooms", an office, and a funky sign for you to put out front.

FATE favourites part two

The other day Ama showed you his favourites and it's my turn to share mine. There's a lot of Doctor Who love below and a trip to Hogwarts so dive on in or just run over to FATEwear and FATEplay to spoil yourself with the 50% off sale that runs until September 10th.



First up I dressed up as Rose, my favourite companion and hung around the TARDIS for a while. I know, wrong console but let's pretend she went exploring previous regenerations. The set doesn't come with shoes but these Raggedy Man heels from fri.day are so cute with the rest of the costume. As for the hair, not something we ever saw her in but I can'y get over how awesome this new hair from TRUTH is, you can pick it up at Uber for 200L in all of the usual colour packs.



I borrowed Ama for this one, after all what is a companion without her Doctor. His costume comes with the option to not wear the jacket. I went with the original versions for all of the outfits I bought and so did he.



Finally I donned my school uniform and wandered Hogsmeade in search of potions and maybe a rat of my own. I'm more of a rat person than an owl person and someday soon I will have furry rat babies of my own again. Fingers crossed.
